at David Horton Ministries we realize how valuable our partners
are to the entire effort and vision of this ministry. Partners
are those who have committed to monthly financial giving.
The vision--reaching the unreached and telling the untold--is
larger than I am…and larger than you. However, together we
can fulfill the mandate that God has given us. I know that
you really want to make your life count by making a difference
in this world. I honestly know of no greater opportunity for
you to do just that than what I am offering through this ministry.
The fullness
of covenant partnership has never been completely understood.
Every time we invest our finances or labor (our time, effort,
and energy) into the work of God, we not only become partners
in investment but also in return. Your paycheck represents
your life. A "life" is an accumulation of time, usually 70
or 80 years. You are paid for the time that you show up and
work. So when you give dollars to gospel work, you have literally
given a portion of your life (time) to gospel work. You have
given yourself. No wonder Paul was so encouraging to the Philippians.
He told them that "fruit would abound to their account" because
of the financial seeds they had sown into his ministry. 
It was the same as their going.
God is
practical. I realize--and so does God--that not everyone can
drop everything and go for weeks at a time to the spiritually
dark places with the gospel. But everyone can partner with
those who are called to "take the message." Paul asks in Romans,
"How shall they go unless they be sent?" Part of the going
involves sending. So who is more important, the "goers" or
the "senders"? Without goers, there's no one to send. Equally,
without senders, no one can go. So you see, both are equally
important. As my partner, you are as important as I am in
reaching this world. For every person who is saved, healed,
blessed, or changed, both "goers" and "senders" are directly
credited in relation to the investment each has sown. We are
co-laborers, co-harvesters, and co-world-changers.
Partner,
this is as much your ministry as it is mine. The buildings,
equipment, and staff belong to all of us. These are the tools
that God has given us to use in bringing in the harvest. Harvest
equipment! Think of our current opportunity! Right now we
are restoring the former Oral Roberts Abundant Life building,
which will serve as a wonderful training and ministry operations
center. We want this revived outreach facility to be equipped
with the finest office and ministry equipment so we can train
the greatest evangelistic team ever assembled. And your financial
support can help us finish it this year. In the meantime,
we are continuing to reach out around the world from our current
ministry headquarters located in Tulsa at 2 West 6th Street.
We
are also striving to keep our partners constantly updated
with the news of this ministry. Through our quarterly newsletter,
Reality, and our monthly partner letter, we
can keep you current on our meetings and tent crusades all
over the world.
We appreciate
